Restrictions
Not suitable for pregnant women and people with a disability that would prevent them climbing in and out of the balloon basket unassisted.
Guidelines
- Minimum age is ten years old
- Passengers should be in good health and be reasonably active
- Passengers must be able to bend the knees and hold on to the rope handles inside the basket
- Bring reading glasses if you need them to fill in the disclaimer form
Numbers on the Day
Minimum of four and a maximum of 16 passengers.
Spectators
Friends and family are welcome to spectate on the morning. They may follow the ground crew in their own vehicle.
Session Length
- Please allow about five hours for this experience. The flight itself is approximately 60 minutes in duration
- Available seven days a week, excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day
- The meeting time is about two hours before sunrise. During the weather check the afternoon prior to your flight, the pilot will inform you of the exact meeting time
- Punctuality is imperative, if you are more than 15 minutes late you may miss your flight
Dress Code
Dress in comfortable clothing for the season, and for the overnight minimum temperature. It will be no colder in the balloon than on the ground. Flat-soled walking shoes are best - no high heels or sandals. A hat is recommended.
Weather
Ballooning is very weather dependant and your flight may be rescheduled due to unsuitable weather conditions. If your flight does not go ahead, you will be rescheduled by the experience provider directly.
Cancellation
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
