Laboratory of fregula in Allai in the territory of Oristano
Allai (Italy)
Location
An unmissable and tasty experience in the center of Sardinia, in the beautiful Allai, a small village near Oristano. Having fun and discovering wonderful and secret places of the island, you will learn how to prepare the Fregula, a typical pasta made according to the ancient Sardinian tradition. Semolina, water and salt will magically create the small balls of a millenary dish and you will live a real ritual among the scents of wheat. There are very few people in Sardinia able to produce this typical pasta by hand: for this reason, you will not only learn how to prepare it but you will become the guardian of an ancient knowledge. The show-cooking of one of the recipes of the Sardinian Fregula will follow, with typical ingredients of the season and after a short break, you will discover the village of Allai, immersing yourself in evocative and fascinating places.
You can buy a platter of local meats and cheeses with water, wine and coffee (12 € per person to be paid directly on site) by calling the number in the booking voucher.
