Standard Day Charter

Vigilant is a beautiful traditional 42ft Cutter rig yacht with a wineglass transom, teak decks and swamp kauri wooden interior and enough room to find your own space.

Away from the crowds of sightseers, you can steer your own experience by helping the skipper at the helm, hoisting the sails or, if you prefer, just relaxing on deck while you journey from island to island. If you wish, you can swim on one of the beaches, snorkel and kayak or take a tender to shore to beach comb and walk to some great lookouts with panoramic views of the islands. 

Bring your swimming suit, towel, hat and a jacket to be prepared to enjoy the Bay of Islands the best way to see them: up close and personal. You are welcome to bring your preferred drinks and a water bottle so you can refill on-board. Please confirm if you have any food allergies.

We have a maximum of 10 passengers. The price includes lunch, snorkelling gear and kayaks!

Departure is from Russell Wharf at 10am, there is an information centre at the end of the wharf and the lovely ladies there can point Vigilant out if you don't notice her beautiful lines first.
