Swim with Horses Half Day Adventure

You will be picked up directly at your hotel in Punta Cana or Cap Cana in comfortable air-conditioning transportation and transferred to the horse ranch, located inside the properties of the Punta Cana Resort & Club. Once arrived at the base, after a warm welcome and a safety briefing, the guides will provide you the helmets and give you the time to use the toilet to change. Free lockers are also provided for storing bags and personal items.

The ranch is surrounded by a beautiful fruit garden and on the way to meet the horses you will be provided some interesting info about the local flora, the different species of plants and their medicinal and therapeutic properties. Arrived at the place of interaction with the horses, the guide will assign each person's horse, depending on their ability and experience, and will give a short explanation on how to handle the horse.

Once you are saddled up and ready to go, just follow your guide through the tropical forest trails. Sit back and relax on your horse and explore some hidden scenery. You will ride horseback through the jungle for 45 minutes experiencing the landscape of the Dominican countryside.

Then It's time to hit the shores of the Caribbean Sea. The wind will whip through your hair as your horse picks up speed while contemplating the never-ending ocean. Here you will have time to enjoy some refreshments and get ready to continue with your adventure surrounded by lush mangroves and crystal-clear waters. The guides prepare the horses and you will have the unique and exclusive experience of swimming with the horses in the sea! It's very fun and the horses love it!

The whole time there will be a professional photographer capturing some awesome pictures of you which you can review and purchase at the end of the tour. After around half an hour at the beach it’s time to ride again. You and your new horse friend will check out stunning natural landscapes, lush tropical foliage, and rugged hillside through the forest.

After a 25 minute ride you will reach the horse stables where you get to pet the horses and take a lot of pictures. The guide will give some more info about the horses and the sport of Polo, played in the field next to the stables.

It's about time to say goodbye to your new friends! You’ll get on the bus and drive back to the ranch. Here, under the hospitality hut, you can use the toilets again, purchase the photos if you want to and enjoy a shot of mamajuana as a final toast before returning to your hotel.
