The Erawan Museum in Samut Prakan Province
Bangkok (Thailand)
Location
Already an drawcard by itself, the building of the Erawan Museum is in the shape of an enormous, eye-catching elephant. Inside the building is more than just a museum with fine and decorative arts. It was created to educate people about Thailand's rich heritage, its fascinating cultures and age-old traditions.
With an Audio Guide coming in five languages (English, Chinese, Russian, Thai and Korean) the suggested time spent here is about 30minutes.
Although it sounds far away in neighbouring Samut Prakan Province, it is easily accessible by catching the BTS Skytrain to Chang Erawan Station and then it is only a few minute's walk in the direction of the gigantic elephant.
