Dive into the history of an over 170-year-old traditional Japanese sake brewery in Aichi, Tokoname well known for pottery and enjoy a unique tasting of some of the best Japanese sake.
Aichi has a long history of its distinctive fermentation tradition such as Sake, Miso, Shoyu, Vinegar, Mirin, etc…
During this experience, you will explore the captivating world of sake production and discover the details of Aichi’s distinctive brewing method at the hand of our sake expert: a creative yet captivating 6th female brewery owner. You will also have a chance to become familiar with the unique and rich flavors of sake through a professional tasting session of award-winning sakes.

【DETAILS】

The brewery owner will give a brief lecture on sake brewing, followed by a video (English subtitles) further explaining the process. 

During the following brewery tour, you will be able to get a precise picture of the brewery's long history by looking at the incredibly preserved wooden barrels and tools that have been in use for over a century. 

After your tour, you will get to enjoy a satisfying sake tasting. To help you understand the characteristics of each sake, you will be given a tasting sheet written to fill in with our expert. Take your new sake knowledge with you across Japan. 

For the most passionate of you, a Tasting game and Original labeling experience is also available (additional charges apply).
